Investment Activities
HFO’s investment arm utilizes a macro-thematic investment strategy that invests across asset classes and geographies.
We invest in funds, publicly-traded securities or private assets. Our direct investments are focused on nurturing and developing companies and investment opportunities where we can leverage our unique expertise or add significant value. We’re especially drawn to investments that positively influence the community or specific sectors, where we can make a strategic contribution.

In addition to the positive social impact of some portfolio investments, our philanthropy supports initiatives that promote equal opportunity, assist the aging population, protect wildlife, and improve health outcomes.
